A practical checklist

  1. Check with the person doing the job before recording it as completed.
  2. For a partial job, describe the completed area and the work that remains.
  3. Keep future plans in your chosen planning system; return to the journal after execution.

A planned irrigation run was canceled because the line needed repair. No Irrigation activity is added for the planned run. A note on the actual inspection explains the fault without claiming water was applied.

What to avoid
