A practical checklist
- Read the source quantity and check whether it is a weight or count.
- Select kg, lb, seeds, or plants only when that unit matches your evidence.
- If only bags are known, write the bag count and unknown size in notes rather than inventing weight.
The source note says 75 kg of seed used on North Strip. Enter quantity 75, unit kg. A second job says “3 bags, weight not recorded” and keeps that statement in notes with no numeric quantity.
What to avoid
The app stores the selected quantity; it does not calculate a seeding rate or convert an unknown bag size into weight.
