A practical checklist

  1. Record which fields contributed and identify the mixed load reference.
  2. Keep unmeasured field shares in notes rather than entering invented quantities.
  3. If a documented allocation exists, label the allocated figures and retain their basis.

What to avoid

Splitting a mixed load equally is an assumption. If you make an allocation outside the app, identify it as an allocation rather than a measurement.
