  2. Write the material identification and covered section in notes from the source record.
  3. Enter the known material weight with its unit; retain the original measurement basis.

What to avoid

A material weight is not automatically a nutrient amount or an application rate. Keep those distinctions explicit and follow applicable specialist record requirements separately.
